DevLabs Group continues to grow and takes over new location in Zagreb

As a provider of innovative services for software testing and the support of software development processes, the DevLabs Group is pleased to welcome a new location in Croatia as of last week. With 7 additional developers and specialists, the company is once again expanding its team and continuing its successful growth process.

Constant growth of the DevLabs group. Innovative offerings
DevLabs welcomes the high demand, which allows a constant growth of the group.

Herwart Wermescher, Managing Director of DevLabs, underlines the positive development: “It is great that we have been able to continue to develop so exceptionally within such a short time since our foundation in 2018“. The growth speaks for itself: After a little more than a year, the company has over 40 employees in Graz, Linz, Banja Luka and, more recently, Zagreb. “The demand for our offerings confirms that we cover an important need in the market and have taken the right path at the right time with our concept,” Wermescher continues.

Current trends enable positive corporate development

Rapid technological developments, continuous delivery approaches, agile processes and constant progress in programming languages contribute to the positive development of the company. The demand for flexible, high-quality services and automated testing of software applications is constantly increasing, but is often difficult to cover regionally. In this fast-changing environment, DevLabs delivers an important added value for customers.

Innovative testing services and support through development resources

DevLabs helps technology and software companies to grow successfully in international competition despite a lack of skilled workers and at the same time to build up important internal company know-how.  The company implements cutting-edge customer projects in areas such as software testing, IoT, e-commerce, health tech, critical communication and e-government by using a broad technology portfolio.

The main focus of its activities is on innovative testing services for software and the support of software development processes by DevLabs resources. The cloud offering “TestRest” facilitates automated testing for companies that do not have extensive in-house software development and testing experience. “TestRest” is a supplement to existing test programs and enables an easy entry into all test phases. The tests are carried out automatically, integrated into continuous integration processes and graphically presented to those responsible for quality assurance.

In addition, DevLabs offers its customers a 24×7 technical service desk in German/English and consulting services in the areas of finance, controlling, personnel management, marketing & communication. The combination of developers, project managers and consultants across locations in Austria, Bosnia and Croatia offers an optimal mixture of customer proximity and attractive cost structures. As part of the “Dedicated Team” concept, professional teams are put together that can be integrated into the client’s existing structures. This promotes low-risk growth while ensuring consistent quality and cost reduction.

In many software projects, testing is neglected because of time or cost constraints. This leads to a lack of product quality, followed by customer dissatisfaction and ultimately to increased overall quality costs.
